User roles

There are three different user roles which follow a hierarchy. Each user role has its specific user permissions.

Super User

  • A company can only have one super user
  • Super user is a user with the most permissions
    • Super users can create and edit both admins and users and equip them with correct access rights
    • All customer portal menu points are accessible 
    • A super user can only be changed by tribe29 

Admin

  • A company can have multiple admins
  • Admin is a user with the second most permissions
    • Admins can create and edit users only and equip them with correct access rights
    • All customer portal menu points are accessible 
    • An admin can be changed by the super user or by tribe29 

User

  • A company can have multiple users
  • User is a user with the least permissions
    • Users cannot create or edit any other users
    • Only the menu point subscriptions is accessible 
    • A user can be changed by the super user or an admin or tribe29 

Access rights

Additionally, users can have different access rights. The access rights depend on the subscription.  

  • Download Checkmk

This access right allows the user to download checkmk

  • Request Support

This access right allows the user to log in to our support portal and raise a support ticket
